From Jetson Green…
I’m amazed there’s so much focus on carbon, yet [architects are still] using toxic materials … It’s a nightmare — you’re effectively delivering a killing machine. We have to put as much focus on materials as on energy. - William McDonough
Read the rest of the post from Jetson Green. Encouraging that people are waking up and realizing that our toxic homes are a serious health crisis! Finally!
My words of wisdom: Believe in love, in possibility, in going after your dreams, in never stopping, in not existing but living - fully, unapologetically and wildly, believe that all is good, and always trust your gut.

I’m in disbelief about this. With all the talk about green green green, indoor air quality is still being virtually ignored. Didn’t we learn about this in the 1980s?? Hello?
I wish McDonough was a little better at follow-through with some of his projects, but he’s a great visionary and inspiring speaker, so maybe he can help wake up some people in the field of green architecture.
We need more like you, Amy!
